Digital Equity Initiative Action Plan: The Digital Equity Action Plan is comprised of three phases. Phase One focuses on building a foundation to achieve digital equity by conducting research, creating a vision, and outlining goals for the plan. Next, Phase Two consists of defining achievable strategies to complete the Digital Equity Action Plan. Lastly, Phase Three implements the Digital Equity Action Plan.

 

2022 Digital Navigator Cohort Grant: The Digital Navigator Cohort Grant provides up to $50,000 to qualifying nonprofit organizations in Seattle to offer digital navigator services citywide.

 

2021 Seattle Internet for All Update Report: The 2021 Seattle Internet for All Update Report summarizes progress on digital equity and inclusion strategies to increase access and adoption of affordable and reliable Internet service.

 

2018 Technology and Access Adoption Study: The 2018 Technology Access and Adoption Study was conducted to provide a comprehensive view into Seattle residents’ access and adoption of Internet and technology. The City of Seattle updated their survey to undertake this study again in 2022.

 

Free Public Wi-Fi: The City of Seattle offers free Wi-Fi at most public facilities such as libraries, community centers, and public buildings.

 

Free Internet Access for Nonprofit Organizations: The City of Seattle offers free high-speed Internet connectivity and services to eligible nonprofit organizations located in Seattle.
