Utah does not have an office dedicated to broadband-related activity. However the Office of Rural Development (ORD), housed in the Utah Governor’s Office of Economic Development, oversees broadband-related activities.

State broadband contact(s):

Utah’s main broadband program is the Utah Broadband Advisory Council (Council). The Council meets regularly to examine the condition of broadband in the state and provides the governor and legislature with policy recommendations and guidance. The Rural Community and Outreach Office of Rural Development maintains the state’s interactive Residential Broadband Availability Outreach Map and a Commercial Broadband Economic Development Map.
