The Arizona Commerce Authority (ACA) currently offers a $3 million in broadband oriented grant with components for construction and planning. Additionally, the ACA works with local regions to establish Broadband Action Teams of local leaders to develop regional broadband planning that is designed to be the precursor to construction. Lastly the ACA Broadband Unit is charged with working with other state agencies to breakdown barriers to broadband deployment and facilitate policies that encourage rural buildout.
